The Kids Matters Community Foundation seeks to support the children of low income families by funding essential assessments and evaluations necessary for developmental, behavioural, and educational growth to provide equal opportunities to thrive.

To be eligible for funding, applicants must meet the below criteria:

2. The parent, guardian or primary caregiver/s of the person described in (1) are financially disadvantaged/ in the low-income category and do not have access to government funding to meet the needs of their child.

How do we help?

We provide funding for essential assessments with paediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and other specialists to help families who would otherwise struggle to afford these services. Through our partnerships with trusted service providers across Brisbane and wider Australia, our beneficiaries receive priority access to high-quality care, ensuring timely intervention and support. By breaking down financial barriers, we give children the opportunity to reach their full potential and provide families with a clearer pathway forward.
